Building a Solid Foundation
In the journey of life, foundations are vitally important to destiny. In fact, God’s word declares that if the foundation is destroyed, the righteous can do nothing – Psa. 11:3. To make the most of one’s Christian adventure, it is important to address the foundations of the faith. We are admonished to contend for the faith that was once delivered to the saints – Jude 3. This means there is an unadulterated dimension of faith; a walk with God that is as God originally intended. The purpose of the Believers Foundation Class is to ensure that we are all grounded in the foundations of faith that will ensure a profitable and colorful adventure in the Lord.
It is also a platform to integrate new believers and members into the church. It helps each one to see how best to take advantage of all the blessings God has ordained for us in this spiritual family. Ours is a commission with a mandate of liberation, as received by God’s servant the Apostle over this commission, Bishop David Oyedepo. The Lord spoke expressly to him in on May 2nd, 1981, saying, “the hour has come to liberate the world from all oppressions of the devil, through the preaching of the word of faith and I am sending you to undertake this task”. This mandate addresses every facet of human existence. Therefore, no matter your condition or situation, God has a blessing for you in this family.
